The Process:
In this initial stage, we meet to get to know each other.
You will share your dreams and aspirations, allowing us to gather the most detailed and accurate information about the space you are renovating. This ensures that the design concept is tailored specifically to your personal style and vision.
Step 2 – Conceptual Design and Preliminary Planning:
Following our meeting, our studio will create several sketches to visualize the area you are planning to renovate. These sketches will highlight the potential of the space, focusing on translating your dreams into a clear and functional design framework.
Step 3 – Detailed Planning and Contractor Tender:
Once the chosen plan is approved, finishing materials are selected, and all necessary technical information is gathered from consultants such as engineers, HVAC advisors, and electricians. We then produce a complete set of working drawings and a Bill of Quantities, which serves as the most comprehensive and detailed guide for your property. These documents are shared with contractors and professionals to obtain quotes, select the right partners, and ensure they become an integral part of the process.
Step 4 – Project Kick-Off and Material Selection:
With finalized plans and a selected contractor, work begins on-site. Simultaneously, to keep the construction process on schedule, we begin selecting finishing materials, including sanitary fixtures, cladding, flooring, paint colors, and detailed carpentry plans. Depending on your preferences, we also organize focused shopping days at design and color stores to furnish and create a unique and perfectly tailored ambiance for your space.
Step 5 – Supervision and Oversight:
The most critical aspect of the process is on-site supervision to ensure the plans are executed correctly and align with the design. We coordinate with contractors and address the needs of any consultants or team members working on-site, providing solutions and ensuring smooth execution every step of the way.
Step 6 – Handover and Final Touches:
We’re almost at the finish line! The contractor’s work is complete, carpentry installations are in place, lighting fixtures and furniture have been set up. Now, all that remains is organizing and styling the space for you. It’s time to enjoy your beautifully designed and newly transformed home, ready for a fresh and inspiring start.
